Abstract:
To provide an onboard video recorder that allows a user to confirm a photographed surrounding video image up to occurrence of an accident just after the occurrence of the accident.
The onboard video recorder is provided with a video image pickup means 11 that photographs the surrounding of a vehicle body, a collision detection means 12 that detects collision of the vehicle body, a video recording medium 13 that records video data obtained by photographing an object by the video image pickup means 11, and a radio transmission means 14 that wirelessly transmits the video data recorded by the video recording medium 13 on the basis of collision detection information by the collision detection means 12.
