Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having both excellent storage stability and excellent wet adhesion by mixing an epoxy resin with a ketimine compound, an oxazolidine compound, a modified silicone resin, and a curing catalyst therefor.
SOLUTION: This composition essentially consists of an epoxy resin, a ketimine compound represented by formula I, an oxazolidine compound represented by formula II, a modified silicone resin, and a curing catalyst for the modified silicone resin. In formula I, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are each hydrogen, a 1-6C alkyl, phenyl, or a functional group containing carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen and having a molecular weight of 300 or below; X1 and X2 are each a 2-6C alkylene or a 6-12C non-adjoining arylene; and (m) is an integer of 0 or greater. In formula II, R6 is methyl or ethyl; R7 and R8 are each independently a 1-12C aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group or they may be combined with each other to form a cyclic group; and R9 is a hydrogen or methyl.
