To provide a coating that can well adhere to a poly-(phenylene oxide) material and resists to chemical substances particularly to oil and grease.
This poly(phenylene oxide) coating, particularly suitable coating composition comprises a polymer particles dispersed in an aqueous medium that contains (A) about 30-35 wt.% of the first styrene-acrylic copolymer from about 50-80 mol.% of styrene or a substituted styrene, about 2-15 mol.% of acrylonitrile, having an acid value of 15 or less, (B) about 30-35 wt.% of the second acrylic copolymer from at least 90 mol.% of an acrylate monomer and the residual part of other α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomers, having an acid value of 0 - about 25, and (C) about 30-40 wt.% of an acryl-urethane hybrid polymer.
