To provide a one-legged stand for cycles that can maintain a stable parking state as in a biped stand, and can perform the erecting or retracting of the stand relatively easily.
In the one-legged stand for cycles, a lower end section 1' of a leg member 1 is extended, the tip of an extension section 2 is bent toward a body side for zigzagging in a perpendicular direction, a U shape perpendicular bending section 4 equivalent to the tire width is formed in the middle, the tip of the bending section 4 is folded back in a U shape nearly in a horizontal direction toward the front of the body to form a folding section 5, the tip of the folding section is extended directly below a leg member as a ground section 6, and the tip of the ground section is bent vertically and a tip section 7 is connected to the leg member in one piece, thus grounding the ground section while the stand is being erected, and lifting the lower end of a tire at the upper portion of the vertical bending section 4.
