Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the withstanding margin of a switching transistor by absorbing a flyback energy by a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a switching transistor Q is turned OFF, energy stored in a choke coil L is smoothed through a commutation diode D4 by a choke L and a capacitor C2. The flyback energy stored in a transformer 2 is not discharged to the secondary side at the primary side when OFF, but particularly a spike voltage of the flyback energy is reduced by a capacitor Cx connected to the primary side of the transformer 2. Thus, the withstand voltage margin of the switching transistor can be increased, thereby improving the reliability.
