Abstract:
PURPOSE: To avoid damages of an input shaft, an output shaft, and a rolling element or the like therebetween, prevent the driven rotation of the input shaft by the reaction torque from the output shaft side through the rolling element, and sufficiently and effectively exhibit the function of the wedge action in the rolling element.
CONSTITUTION: An input shaft 15 and an output shaft 25 on the same axis which are connected to each other in an engaged condition where a play is set are inserted in a fixed brake drum 11. A brake rolling element receiver 32 which is rotated together with the output shaft 25 in the rotation on the input shaft 15 side is arranged in a stretching manner over the input shaft 15 and the output shaft 25. A clutch means 30 is provided where a plurality of rolling elements 37 which are pushed outward in the rotation on the output shaft 25 side, pressed in a projecting manner against the inner circumferential surface of the brake drum 11, and lock the rotation of the output shaft 25 are arranged and stored in the brake rolling element receiver 32 in the radial direction.
