Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable one-way clutch with its working condition remaining unchanged irrespective of the direction of the rotation axis of the installed one-way clutch.
SOLUTION: When a power input part 1 rotates in the direction of an arrow R, a projection part 6 abuts on a slope of a recessed-side end part 7c of a power transmission part 2 and presses against it in an oblique direction. Since a large frictional force is generated between a protrusive part 11 of an arm 10 and a column member 4 by the load of self-weight, the transmission part 2 makes rotating movement with the slope of the end part 7c vertically thrusted by the projection part 6. Even if the transmission part 2 is pressed against the input part 1 by the gravity, the transmission part 2 is radially rotated by a drag (frictional force) generated between the column member 4 and the protrusive part 11, and the projection part 6 makes sliding movement on the slope of the end part 7c. When the transmission part 2 moves to the power output part 3 side, a ratchet pawl 8 engages with a ratchet recess part 9 and the projection part 6 abuts on an upstream-side end part 7a, thus transmitting the rotation of the input part 1 to the power output part 3 via the transmission part 2.
