To improve engagement responsiveness, by matching phases of rollers when a one-way clutch is not engaged, with a simple structure.
A plurality of rollers 42 are disposed in an annular space formed between an inner peripheral face of an outer member 43 and an outer peripheral face of the inner member 41, and pivot arms 51 rotatably support the plurality of rollers 42. The pivot arms 51 are supported by the inner member 41 to be capable of oscillating, and are urged to one side in a circumferential direction by first springs 59. Therefore, moving loci of the rollers 42 are regulated by the pivot arms 51 to decrease a degree of freedom to facilitate retention of the rollers 42 near meshing start positions and thereby to improve the engagement responsiveness of the one-way clutch. Since the plurality of pivot arms 51 are interlocked with each other through tension springs 69, the plurality or rollers 42 are interlocked with each other and moved in the circumferential direction without using a cage, so that the engagement responsiveness of the one-way clutch is improved compared with a case where the plurality of rollers 42 are moved separately from each other in the circumferential direction.
