Abstract:
To obtain an opal finished fabric that forms a pattern of three-dimensional feeling by an opal finish part and a non-opal finish part and has excellent strength even in a thin fabric.
The opal processed fabric is obtained from a fabric composed of two kinds of fibers and is provided with an opal finish part exhibiting a transparent feeling by removal of one kind of fiber and a non-opal finish part. The opal finish part mainly comprises a nylon fiber and knitted by Atlas knitting or two needle stitch texture and the non-opal finish part is constituted of a layer consisting essentially of a polyester-based fiber and a layer consisting essentially of a nylon fiber. The opal finish part has 10-50% light transmittance.
