PURPOSE: To provide an open-air-temperature correction-type dial thermometer by which a substantial rise in the temperature of an object to be measured is always detected irrespective of a change in an open-air temperature and by which a microswitch can be operated.
CONSTITUTION: A Bourdon tube 2 is installed at a measuring-instrument body 1. Its moving end is connected to a crank mechanism 3. A pointer 15 and a switch operating part 16 are installed at the crank mechanism 3. A microswitch 18 which is supported so as to be freely rotatable is installed so as to be close to the switch operating part 16. An open-air-temperature correction-type dial thermometer is featured in such a way that the moving end of another Bourdon tube 21 which is deformed by detecting an open-air temperature so as to be turned to a direction in which the microswitch 18 is separated from the switch operating part 16 according to a rise in the open-air temperature is connected to the microswitch 18.
