Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the opening property of a scoring part and the safety after opening a can by forming a score part of an open end with pre-shearing from one direction and with return shearing from the reverse direction.
SOLUTION: In the score part formed with pre-shearing from one direction and with return shearing from the reverse direction after then, in the time of opening, crack is advanced with the stress concentration caused on acute notches existing on front and back faces. Because a central part to be advanced with the crack is already received with large repeat shearing strain even without generating breaking, the ductility of the material itself is reduced and the crack is advanced easily. Further, in the final shear breaking position (burr generating position), because it is positioned at inner part in the wall thickness direction against the original metal sheet, the ductility of the material is inclined to reducing, so a large burr is not generated, in consideration of the state of generation, the anxiety of a cut of hand or finger, etc., is nothing in the real using.
