To provide an open frame capable of sufficiently withstanding the one-sided earth pressure from a cutout surface without varying the structure of an outer wall part opposed to the cutout surface from the other outer wall part in the construction of a building facing the cutout surface of an inclined ground.
A mat slab 4 is formed on foundation pile 3, driven to an inclined ground 2, and a frame 1 is constructed. A retaining wall 5 is provided on an opposed underground floor part to the cutout surface of the inclined ground 2 with a space from an underground structure to form an underground outer wall. The bottom part of the retaining wall 5 is fixed to the mat slab 4. According to this, the underground outer wall can be separated from a main frame and made as a self-supporting wall erected from the mat slab 4.
