Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open rack type evaporator formed in such a manner that it can reduce calorie fluctuation to ±100kcal/Nm3 or below by modifying the evaporator itself.
SOLUTION: In such a structure that a space 10 between a lower header tank 10 and a spurge pipe 11 is filled with a heat insulating material 20, and an LNG hole is arranged in the uppermost part of the spurge pipe 11 so as to introduce LNG directly to a fin tube 1 through an introducing passage 21, a predetermined amount of LNG is led to flow by arranging predetermined interval between the heat insulating material 20 and the inner circumferential surface of the lower header tank 10 or further between the heat insulating material 20 and the peripheral surface of the spurge pipe 11, thereby calorie fluctuation width can be extremely diminished.
