Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase capable of giving sufficient cooling effects to products displayed on an upper stage shelf, and products displayed at an end of a shelf regardless of where the products are displayed, and reducing an operation cost.SOLUTION: An open showcase includes a cold insulation chamber 11, a shelf 21 on which products are displayed, and a back panel 12 provided on the back side of the shelf 21, and sucks cool air blown from the upper part of the cold insulation chamber 11 at the lower part of the cold insulation chamber to form an air curtain at an opening part 6. The shape of the cold insulation chamber 11 viewed from the front, and the shape of the back panel 12 viewed from the front are formed in substantially the same shape. The cold insulation chamber 11 is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape with the upper base being shorter than the lower base when viewed from the front and the side.
