Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase capable of preventing incomplete cool air from being blown out of an outlet by performing defrosting operation, suppressing rise in temperature in a showroom, and maintaining freshness of products to be exhibited.SOLUTION: A controller C supplies, refrigerant liquid for a main evaporator 14 and blocks supply of the refrigerant liquid for the auxiliary evaporator 15 in the state that electrification to a heat source 38 is stopped during steady state operation and blocks supply of the refrigerant liquid for the main evaporator 14 and supplies the refrigerant liquid for the auxiliary evaporator 15 in the state that the heat source 38 is electrified during the defrosting operation. The controller C supplies the refrigerant liquid for the auxiliary evaporator 15 and starts precooling operation in prior to block of supply of the refrigerant liquid for the main evaporator 14 when the defrosting operation starts. Until a prescribed time passes after the refrigerant liquid supplied for the main evaporator 14 is started when defrosting operation is over, supply of the refrigerant liquid for the auxiliary evaporator 15 is continued to perform refrigerating operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
