The open type clean bench for cleaning air in an open working space above a work table includes a pair of push hoods 1 having an air flow open surface 7 blowing out clean air from an air cleaner sucking and cleaning air outside of the opened work space in the form of the uniform push air flow having wind velocity of 1 m/sec or less from the entire surface, and the air flow opening surfaces 7 are arranged to be opposed with each other so that the push air flows collide with each other and flow to the outside of the opened work space. The opened work space is almost all the region in the push air flow region between the opposed air flow opening surfaces above the work table, and the opened work space has higher cleanliness than other regions.
