Abstract:
PURPOSE: To safely and certainly open and close a movable roof frame by simplifying an opening and closing drive device for a movable roof frame divided radially from the roof center in a movable roof.
CONSTITUTION: A movable roof frame A divided radially from the central part of a roof being circular or polygonal in a plane form is rotatably supported by a lower supporting frame B through a rotary pin 3 and a rotary rod 4. An arc-shaped pin rack 5 provided on the peripheral lower face of the movable roof frame A is engaged with a driving gear 6 provided on the lower supporting frame B.
