To provide a door handle of an automobile which can prevent a keyhole from being fouled and a lock from being illegally unlocked and has superior aesthetic appearance.
When the automobile parks or stops or runs, the base end of the lever part 13a and the slide part 13b of a door knob 13 are completely fitted and stored in the mounting hole 12a of the swelled part 12 of the door handle 10. Since the keyhole 14a of a lock 14 is concealed in the mounting hole 12a, the keyhole 14a is not exposed at all (Fig.1(A)). When the operator grasps and pulls the lever part 13a, a slide mechanism functions, and the base end of the lever part 13a and the slide part 13b slidingly protrude from the inside of the mounting hole 12a to the outside of the swelled part 12, and the keyhole 14a of the lock 14 is exposed (Fig.1(B)).
