To provide an opening mechanism of a revolving door having a simple structure in which a latch is released by only depressing a pushbutton provided on a column frame and then the door can be naturally opened by half.

The door A is rotatably attached to a column frame B' through a hinge C. An elastic member D elastically urging a door A to a usually opened direction is provided in one of the hinge side end face 1 of the door A and the end face 2 of the column frame B' adjacent to the end face 1 in a closed posture of the door A. A latch 12 retaining the closed posture of the door A is provided in either the loose end side end face 11 of the door A or the end face 14 of the column frame B adjacent to the end face. Push buttons 13, 13 retracting the latch 12 to an unlatched position are provided on the front face 16 and the rear face 17 of the column frame B.
