To facilitate closing operation of a side open type opening and separating insertion tool by mounting a magnet so as to surely attract right and left insertion tools.
As for the opening and separating insertion device, a holding member 10 is mounted at the end of one stringer 2 to provide a holding part 31 capable of holding a slider, and a sliding-contact board 12 is integrally provided at the end. A projecting part 25 is formed on the superposing surface 14 of the sliding contact plate 12, and a magnetic body 17 is arranged to surround it. At the end of the other stringer 2', an insertion member 11 is fitted to provide an insertion plate 38 into which the holding member 10 can be inserted, and a sliding-contact plate 13 is integrally provided at its distal end. A recessed part is formed on the superposing surface of the sliding contact board 13, and a magnetic body is arranged to surround it. The sliding contact boards 12 and 13 are superposed to engage the recessed and projecting parts, and the stringers 2 and 2' are turned to slide the slider to close a fastener chain.
