To provide a device for determining operating conditions for acquiring desired operation-related values even if characteristics of a vibration generator are not obtained by experiments previously.
A vibration controller 22 controls the driving current of the vibration generator 1 so as to apply desired vibration to a specimen under a set exciting current. An operation-related value acquisition means 50 obtains power values consumed by an exciting coil and a driving coil when the control by the vibration controller 22 stabilizes. An exciting current changing means 52 changes the exciting current only by a minute amount. Accordingly, the acquisition means 50 obtains a power consumption value with respect to each exciting current value changing minutely. A displacement point detecting means 54 observes a series of power consumption values obtained by the acquisition means 50, and finds out a point where gradually decreasing consumption power shifts to an upward trend afterwards, as a displacement point. An exciting current corresponding to this displacement point is set as an operating condition. Then, the number of revolutions of a blower is determined by feedback control.
