Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large contact load by a small operation force and in a simple mechanism by controlling the magnetic force acting between a permanent magnet and a movable member.
SOLUTION: A magnetically driving mechanism 6 in a breaker comprises a casing 7 fixed to a fixing member 1, a permanent magnet 8 fixed in this casing 7, a movable member 9 that is provided vertically movably in this casing 7 and made of a magnetic body, and a magnetic passage switch mechanism 10 for cutting off or connecting a magnetic passage between the permanent magnet 8 and the movable member 9 which are provided in this casing 7. In this structure, when the magnetic passage is connected by the magnetic passage switch mechanism 10, the movable member 9 is sucked and driven upward, and a driving rod 12 is driven upward against a restoring force of a multi-stage spring 19. Thus, an operation rod 3 of a vacuum valve 2 is driven, a movable contact 2b abuts to a fixed contact 2a, and the movable contact 2b is pressed to the fixed contact 2a by a restoring force of a wipe spring 16.
