PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operating device for a power switching device, which is small and inexpensive while having high reliability on its operation.
SOLUTION: The positions of coils 20, 30 in the direction of y-axis are regulated by holding their projecting parts 22a, 23a, 32a, 33a between first and second cores 11, 12 from the y-axis in the figure, and the positions in the direction of x-axis and y-axis are regulated by the engagement parts of respective cores 11e, 12e to prevent the coils from being substantially moved by impact caused while using the cores. In addition, since bearings 80 are fixed by holding them in the direction of x-axis between third and fourth core members 13, 14, it is easy to secure coaxiality of two bearings. Thereby, the coils can be prevented from being moved while using them, a smooth operation of a movable core 41 can be secured without hampering its movement even if a gap between pole cores 11-14 facing each other and a support member 60 is made small, and reliability of operation is enhanced. The coil becomes small and inexpensive since its exciting current can be made small.
