To provide an operating device for a self-propelling processing machine capable of operating the processing machine by a remote control manner more safely than a conventional operating device.
This operating device for the self-propelling processing machine is provided with a main operating device 10 fixed on the self-propelling processing machine and a remote operate the self-propelling processing machine by wire line or radio transmission by the remote control manner. Each of the main operating device 10 and the remote control operating device 100 is provided with an operation mode switching switch provided to switch between running mode for operating and running a main body and work mode for operating the processing device and the other equipments. This operating device is provided to make the operation by the remote control operating device 100 effective when the signal output based on the operation mode selected by the operation mode switching switch in the remote control operating device 100 coincides with the signal output based on the operation mode selected by the operation mode switching switch in the main operating device 10.
