Abstract:
To provide an operation device which can be easily mounted on a vehicle door, and to provide a vehicle door including the operation device.SOLUTION: An operation device 20 includes: a holding part 40 provided at a vehicle door 1; an operation input part 48 provided on a vehicle inside surface of the holding part, and for receiving an operation by an occupant for operating at least one on-vehicle device 21; a first sensor 45 provided on a vehicle outside surface and for detecting fingers of the occupant; a second sensor 46 provided at least one of the vehicle inside surface and an upper surface, and for detecting the fingers of the occupant; and a control device 40 connected to the operation input part, the first sensor, the second sensor and the on-vehicle device. In the case where both first sensor and second sensor have detected the occupant, the control device controls the on-vehicle device based on a signal from the input operation part, and in the case where at least one of the first sensor and the second sensor does not detect the occupant, it prohibits control of the on-vehicle device based on the signal from the operation input part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
