PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive operating lever mechanism with good visibility of an indication showing a operating direction, which can be precisely operated to a stop position, and is never moved from this position by vibration.

CONSTITUTION: In an operating lever mechanism in which an operating lever 4 is provided with an indication such as an arrow showing the operating direction of the operating lever 4, the indication such as arrow is formed by a through-hole 5 which has good visibility and can be formed at low cost, and a positioning mark is provided in the position looked through the through-hole 5 of the operating lever 4 positioned in a stop position, so as that the positioning mark can be looked through the through-hole 5 when the operating lever 4 is moved to the stop position. Further, a projection engaged with the through- hole 5 is provided in the position looked through the through-hole 5 of the operating lever 4 position in the stop position, so that the through-hole 5 is engaged with the projection when the operating lever 4 is moved to the stop position.
