PURPOSE: To prevent coins or a prepaid card from being wasted by preferentially using the prepaid card or coins which are inserted or fed first.
CONSTITUTION: When the card is inserted into an insertion slot 35 after the start of operation or during a process, or when a coin sensor 74 detects a coin, an interruption routine is entered immediately. When the insertion of the card is not confirmed, the charge mode is set to a coin mode and the operation frequency is counted. When the card insertion is confirmed, on the other hand, the charge mode is judged; when the mode is the coin mode, in other words, when the coin is already fed and the operation is performed, the card is returned. In card mode, the operation frequency is read out. Cranks 50 and 60 are returned to their initial states and the coin staying in a fall path is returned. Consequently, even when the coin and prepaid card are fed unnecessary by mistake, they are not wasted.
