Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive the improvement of stopping precision by a method wherein a speed of a rolling stock and a remained distance just before the aimed point of stopping is detected, and a most suitable braking force is calculated.

CONSTITUTION: A control of stopping at a fixed point is started by a signal giving notice that the rolling stock has entered in an area of the fixed point stopping control on an input signal 2, CPU5 judges which zone of the zone area it is according to the speed of the rolling stock, and a power driving, coasting or braking command is fed from a digital output circuit 9 to a control unit 4 based on the result of the judgment. The CPU5 calculates the speed of the rolling stock according to a number of pulses fed per unit time from a speed generator 3 and the remained distance according to an integration of the input pulse numbers. Accordingly, the CPU5 judges that the rolling stock is decelerated at a certain speed just before the aimed point of stopping and calculates a necessary deceleration on the basis of the remained distance at the time, and also gives a command of a braking step corresponding to the deceleration to the control unit 4 through the output circuit 9. Thereby enabling the stopping precesion to be improved.
