Abstract:
To provide an operation method of a leveler device capable of suppressing generation of scratch on a steel plate, while reducing a used amount of water.SOLUTION: There is provided an operation method of a leveler device 1 including a leveler roll 2 for leveling a steel plate 9, and a nozzle device 3 capable of injecting water to at least either of the steel plate 9 and the leveler roll 2. The operation method of the leveler device 1 includes a first step S1 for measuring wear of the leveler roll 2, and a second step S2 for switching a valve 6 of the nozzle device 3 from a closed state into an open state, when a measured value in the first step S1 exceeds a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
