Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the precision of internal combustion engine control by optimizing the A-D conversion of an input signal from each sensor by adequately selecting the acquisition order and acquisition time width of each signal from the sensor by a multiplexer control circuit and supplying the program to a multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 1 which inputs the output signal of each sensor as a signal to be converted from analog to digital, an A-D converter 2, an internal combustion engine control circuit 3, and a multiplexer control circuit 4 are connected in a closed-loop shape to output a necessary control signal from the internal combustion engine control circuit. The multiplexer control circuit 4 indicates a program which instructs the multiplexer 1 about what order and what time width the multiplexer 1 should select and aquire its respective input signals in and with, by an information signal showing whether the internal combustion engine is under opened-loop or closed-loop control.
