PURPOSE: To obtain always stable and high treatment performance even if there are load fluctuation by setting the respective values of aeration time and non-aeration time at the time corresponding to the predetermined one day's load fluctuations of inflow raw water and making intermittent aerations in accordance with this time schedule.
CONSTITUTION: The load fluctuations (concn. fluctuations) of the inflow raw water in one day are previously measured or predicted and a re patterned. The respective values of the aeration time and the non-aeration time are determined by taking these patterns into consideration to set the one day's operation schedule. The intermittent aerations are made by the operation schedule set in such a manner, by which the org. matter of the inflow raw water is stably removed regardless of the concn. fluctuations of the inflow raw water and the nitrification and denitrifcation of said water are executed.
