PURPOSE: To provide an operating part which is capable of maintaining flow rate in releasing a delivery valve with comparatively high accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: An operating part for a spray container including a product which is capable of flowing and is exposed to a gas pressure, and a delivery valve in a delivery duct, is provided with an axial bore 2 which can be coupled to the delivery duct, a transverse bore 3 leading from the axial bore 2 to a discharge nozzle 4, and a regulating member 5 which has a throttle bore 7 and is slide-fitted into the axial bore and is axially movable to regulate a flow rate. The operating part can operate the delivery valve so that the product flows through the delivery duct when the delivery valve is open. In order to maintain the flow rate with higher accuracy when the delivery valve is open, the regulating member 5 is made of substantially rigid material, and is movable over an intake opening 9 by the internal pressure of the spray container against force of a spring 8 until the regulating member 5 reaches an abutment 10 which stops the regulating member 5 in a position where the main part of the intake opening 9 is blocked.
