Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating sound measuring device of a power steering device that can measure an operating sound without producing variation between tests and with higher reproducibility to obtain more appropriate operating sound data used for performance check, improvement, and development of the power steering device.SOLUTION: An operating sound measuring device of a power steering device comprises an electric motor engaged in an upper end part of a steering shaft or a steering wheel installed thereon via a rotational shaft end and applying steering torque on the steering shaft. The electric motor is suspended with suckers vacuum-sucked onto right and left window glasses of a vehicle via rope bodies and designed to prevent rotation of the rotational shaft around an axial line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
