Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save the space of switches by providing a switch member capable of being moved to the on-position turning the power circuit of a camera on and to the off-position turning it off, and providing a zoom switch means rotatably supporting the switch member at the on-position of the power circuit and driving a zoom motor positively or reversely via the positive or reverse rotating action of the switch member.
CONSTITUTION: A camera main body having an electric zoom lens driven by a zoom motor 22 is provided with a switch member 12 capable of being moved to the on-position turning the power circuit 20 of a camera on and the off- position turning it off and a zoom switch means rotatably supporting the switch member 12 at the on-position of the power circuit 20 and driving the zoom motor 22 positively or reversely via the positive or reverse rotating action of the switch member 12. When the switch member 12 is rotated, a tele-switch TS or a wide switch WS is selected and turned on, and a motor control circuit 21 drives the zoom motor 22 to change the focal distance via a zoom mechanism.
