Abstract:
1. A door operating bar, especially for pushing or pulling a pivoting door, and comprising a bar member (2), the tubular cross-section of which is polygonal and preferably rectangular, two end members (3, 4, 44) slidably mounted in each end (25, 26) of the bar member (2) of tubular cross-section for fixing the bar (1) on a leaf (21) of the pivoting door, and an indicating element (16) and/or a protective member (17), characterised in that the bar member (2) of tubular cross-section includes an exposed face (5) provided with at least one opening (6, 13, 36, 37) in which the indicating element (16) and/or the protective member (17) is inserted, and an uninterrupted face (22) which is opposite to the said exposed face (5) and interchangeable with the said exposed face (5).
