Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten renew time of coke in a furnace core part at the lower part of a bloast furnace and to improve gas ventilation and liquid permeation at the furnace core part of the blast furnace by preventing the formation of dense shell at the lower part betwen tuyeres in the blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: At least one set of an auxiliary blasting pipe 6 is arranged between plural tuyeres 2, 2' arranged in the peripheral direction at the lower part in the blast furnace, and hot blast or auxiliary fuel together with the hot blast are blown into the blast furnace from the auxiliary blasting pipe 6. The auxiliary blasting pipe 6 is positioned at the lower part from the tuyeres 2, 2' and this blowing hole 6a is directed to diagonally lower frontward to a horizontal line. In the case of blowing the hot blast or the auxiliary fuel together with the hot blast from the auxiliary blasting pipe 6, the blowing condition is selected so that raceway depth formed at the tip part of the auxiliary blasting pipe 6 becomes ≤0.01m.
