Abstract:
PURPOSE: To permit making maintenance and inspection of a control board for a man conveyor without removing and re-mounting of the cover or lid for the control board.
CONSTITUTION: On a skirt panel 7 of an escalator a control board 8 is furnished, which is fitted with a switch 94 for emergency stop and a lid 93 to operate this switch 94 through a button 86 on the basis of manual control motion. A small hole 9 is bored in the center of this lid 93, and a needle 10 inserted in this small hole 9 is moved to cause sliding of the button 86. Accordingly maintenance and inspection of switches on the control board can be done without removing and re-mounting of the cover or lid.
