Abstract:

PURPOSE: To be able to maintain the most suitable combustion condition in response to the properties of disposed objects without the use of auxiliary fuel by a method wherein air is supplied divergently to a fluidized bed incinerator and an air preheater and the ratio of the air supplied to the air preheater is changed in response to the temp. in the incinerator.

CONSTITUTION: Temp. information detected by a furnace inside temp. detector 21 for detecting the temp. in a fluidized bed incinerator 1 is transmitted to a controller 22 for a furnace inside temp. and the opening and closing degree of an air damper 13 is adjusted and then the supply ratio of the air from a fluidization blower 7 to an air preheater 7 and a fluidized bed furnace 1 is controlled. Thus, the temp. of the fluidization air preheated by the preheater 3 is controlled to be nearly constant. Therefore, even if the property of sewer sludge is sharply changed, for instance, between 69W76% as a percentage of water content, the fluidization air temp. is able to be controlled at 241W650°C and stable combustion is able to be maintained over a wide change in the properties of disposed objects.
