The operation control device of a heat storage refrigeration cycle comprises an external data input means 35 inputting external data which affects the energy consumption of a heat source machine in a day that is an operation control object; a heat demand load pattern arithmetic means 41 computing a heat demand load pattern of the day of the operation control object based on the input external data; an operation pattern arithmetic means 43 computing a heat storage quantity, an operation pattern for heat storage and a daytime operation pattern capable of covering a heat value requested by the heat demand load pattern computed by the arithmetic means 43 while minimizing the energy consumption; and an operation control means 39 performing operation control of constituent equipment constituting the refrigeration cycle based on the operation pattern computed by the arithmetic means 43.
