PURPOSE: To ensure power performance when an engine load is increased as in the case of slope climbing of a car, for example, by constituting a control equipment in such a manner that a compressor stops when the temperature of fuel supplied to the engine becomes higher than a predetermined value and moreover an accelerator full open switch is full open.

CONSTITUTION: While a car is on an ordinary run like a run on a flat road, fuel temperature is kept low, a thermoswitch 7 is off, and a contact 8a is open. Accordingly, a relay 10 does not operate, and a compressor 1 does not work even if acceleration takes place. However, when an engine load increases and fuel temperature rises while a car is climbing a slope, the thermoswitch 7 turns on to activate the relay 8. At this time, since an accelerator full open switch 9 is on because of slope climbing of the car, the relay 10 operates to stop the compressor 1, thereby alleviating the engine load. As a result, all the power is allowed to direct toward slope climbing of the car. With this contrivance, power performance during slope climbing of a car can be enhanced.
