Abstract:

PURPOSE: To give a driver a good acceleration feeling without giving deceleration feeling by controlling increase in a target revolution speed of an internal combustion engine or a target speed change of an automatic transmission at the acceleration operation time, and increasing fuel injection according thereto.

CONSTITUTION: In an internal combustion engine 1 provided with a continuous variable transmission 7, an engine target revolution speed of an engine in response to an engine operation condition at a normal operation time or a target speed change ratio of the transmission 7 is memorized by a means A, respectively. An acceleration operation condition is detected by a means B. At an acceleration operation time, the target revolution speed or the target speed change ratio are increased by a means C with respect to the memorized target revolution speed or the target speed change ratio. When the increase quantities of the target revolution speed or the target speed change ratio at the acceleration operation time reaches a setting value, the increase is controlled by a means D. When the increase of the target revolution speed or the target speed change ratio are controlled, fuel injection is increased by a means E.
