Title:
OPERATION-CONTROLLING SYSTEM FOR DOT IMPACT PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6227167
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate a restarting operation and enhance the efficiency in using a system, by a system wherein when a power source is momentarily interrupted, information on a printing condition at the interruption is stored into a memory in a controlling circuit part, and the information is read by receiving a resetting information upon resetting.

CONSTITUTION: When a commercial AC power source is momentarily interrupted, a momentary interruption detector 7 provided at a power source part 6 detects the momentary interruption, and sends the information to the controlling circuit part 4. The part 4 stops a printing operation of a printing mechanism 11, and stores the operating condition at that time into the memory. Then, supply of source power to a transverse moving mechanism part 12 and a paper-feeding mechanism part 13 is stopped, thereby interrupting the operations of the mechanism parts, and the operating conditions of the parts at that moment are stored into the memory 5. When the power source is recovered from the momentary interruption, the detector 7 immediately outputs the information to the controlling circuit part 4, which starts up each mechanism part, reads the data at the moment of the momentary interruption from the memory 5, and restarts the operation of each part from the condition at the moment of the momentary interruption, after the starting up of each mechanism part is completed.
