Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation determination method of electrode rods in which a liquid level detector having a plurality of electrode rods that detect respectively different liquid levels can accurately detect malfunction regardless of liquid levels detected by the electrode rods.SOLUTION: A liquid level detector 4 determining operations of electrode rods comprises: a liquid level adjustment step of adjusting a liquid level until the liquid level is detected by a high liquid level electrode rod 42; a liquid supply step of supplying liquid after the liquid level adjustment step is completed; a supply amount measurement step of measuring the amount of liquid supplied in the liquid supply step; and a determination step of determining malfunction of a backup electrode rod 41 in a case where the liquid level is not detected by the backup electrode rod 41 even when the liquid amount measured in the supply amount measurement step exceeds the amount corresponding to a difference in liquid level between the high liquid level electrode rod 42 and the backup electrode rod 41 that detects a higher liquid level than the high liquid level electrode rod 42.
