Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent selective operation from being not executed and to prevent a driver from having a feeling of physical disorder by a method wherein when changeover control of an auxiliary transmission is not completed in spite of selective operation being realized between low and high speed states by returning it to the state before the selective operation.
SOLUTION: In a case of a car speed V being higher than a given very low car speed V0 when a changeover lever is operated between a 4LLc position and a 4HLc position, and in a case of a transmission being an automatic transmission, even in a situation that changeover control of the auxiliary transmission mechdanism is not executed like a case of a shift mechanism being not brought into an N-range, or in the case of changeover control being not yet completed even in a situation that changeover control of the auxiliary transmission is executable, selective operation is returned to a 4 HLc position or a 4LLc position before the changeover lever is operated at a step S14. This constitution prevents a driver from having a feeling of physical disorder due to a fact that the changeover lever is entirely not operated.
