Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the operation of a vehicle part by providing an operating element of a set function on an edge of a display device by making the elements directly and spatially correspond to mark display of the set function. CONSTITUTION: Operating elements of a function to set, for example, switches 1.1.1-1.1.3, 1.2.1-1.2.4, 1.3.1-1.3.3, 1.4.1-1.4.4 are provided on an edge of a display device, by making the switches directly and spatially correspond to mark display of the function to set. For example, when keys 1.6-1.10, different from a vehicle part selection key 1.5 of an air conditioner, are operated, the mark display of a function of each of the switches appears on the edge of the display device corresponding to each of the switches. Additionally, the switches 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 not only take a binary but are also constituted as switches, capable of changing quantity at many stages by steps digitized in the specific direction at the time of long continuous operation.
