To facilitate travelling operation in independent steering for independently steering four wheels in a vehicle capable of independently steering multiple wheels.
The operation device comprises: a casing 20 in which a mode selection switch 21 is arranged; a stage 30; and an operation part 40 arranged on the stage 30 and arranged rotatably or fixedly with respect to the stage 30. A display part 42 comprising a liquid crystal display device is arranged on an upper surface of the operation part 40. A vehicle drawing 43 is displayed in the display part 42. A touch panel is arranged on the upper surface of the display part 42. In pivotal turning, a turing center is specified by the operation part 40, and the operation device is configured rotatably with the specified turing center as a center. In operation of parallel movement, the device is configured movably in lateral, longitudinal and oblique directions on a flat surface. The movement of the operation part 40 is made to correspond to movement specific to independent steering, such as parallel movement, or pivotal turning. Thus, the operator can operate the device while imaging the movement of the vehicle.
