Abstract:
To provide an operation device of a vehicle which is easy for a user to understand a current operation mode in a transmission.SOLUTION: In an operation device 4 of a vehicle, a palm rest 6 for allowing a user to lay a hand on a center console of the vehicle is provided so as to be slidable in a front-and-rear direction and a width direction of the vehicle. The palm rest 6 serves as an operation member operated by the user when the user sets an operation mode of the transmission mounted on the vehicle, and enables slide movement between a plurality of switching positions. The setting of the operation mode of the transmission is achieved by displacing the palm rest 6 to any switching position among the plurality of switching positions and holding the palm rest through the slide movement of the palm rest 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
