Title:
OPERATION OF ICE COOLING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58145837
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a stabilized amount of ice cooling by a method wherein the level of water in a heat accumulation tank at the time of starting a refrigerator is determined as a reference water level and when the amount of variation of the water level exceeds a predetermined value, the refrigerator is stopped.

CONSTITUTION: An ice making coil 2 connected to the refrigerator 3 is arranged within the heat accumulation tank 1, the ordinary level of the water in the tank 1 is measured by a level gauge 8 and the refrigerator 3 is started or stopped by a control device 6 in proportion to the amount of variation of the water level. In this case, the level 9 of the water at the time of starting the refrigerator 3 is stored as the reference water level Lo, then the difference ΔL between a water level L' determined by correcting the variation of the water level due to the operation of a circulation pump supplying water to an air conditioner 7, and the reference water level Lo is obtained (ΔL=Lo-L') and when the difference ΔL (the amount of variation of water level ) exceeds a predetermined value S, the refrigerator 3 is stopped.
