PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of gears, etc. and the cut of a tape by using a switching means provided to an operation slider to cut off a motor power supply in an action switching mode.
CONSTITUTION: When a primary operation slider 1 is set at the position of a stop mark 4a, a pin 27 of a switch lever 25 is fitted to a recessed part 23 with a motor switch 28 turned off. When the slider 1 is shifted to a reproduction position 6a, the pin 27 moves to the middle between depressed parts 23 and 24. Then the edge part 29 of the lever 25 turns on the switch 28. Then the slider 1 is shifted to a rewind position 7a, and the pin 27 is fitted to the part 24. Thus the switch 28 is temporarily turned off. Then the pin 27 passes through the recessed parts to turn on the switch 28. Therefore the motor power supply is turned off while the slider 1 is switched. This can prevent the breakage of gears and the cut of a tape in an action switching mode.
