The method comprises calculating and particularly storing a time integral of temperatures measured at discontinuous points as needed, and using the time integral to control a combustion kiln by adding it to an actual temperature measured as needed. The combustion kiln comprises a temperature control device, in which a time integral of temperatures measured by the temperature control device is calculated and particularly stored, the time integral is added to an actual temperature measured as needed, and the combustion kiln is controlled based thereon.
